Today my class went on a field trip to the Meridian Historical Village in Okemos. We had lots of fun and all the information fit perfectly with our Social Studies unit on Michigan history. For those of you that are teachers that may be reading this... the village visit cost $4 per student and we were there from 10:30 - 1:45. We had guided tours/information sessions at 4 different historical buildings. We also ate lunch in the school house. It was nice to go on a field trip, but they are always exhausting too. Plus it rained, all. day. long.
