Friday Favorites

Thought I'd share some of Sam's current favorites (at 20 months old)

Sam really likes Tummy Tickler juice.  Well, he likes any juice really, but he likes these cups.  He has a spiderman, a wolverine, and a winne the pooh.  I take off the label and wash and reuse them.  I get them at Walmart.  He is officially done with bottles at this point, so it's nice he has a cup that he really likes - it's a little silly that it's a cheap juice cup, and not one of the expensive special sippy cups I have bought, but oh well. 

Sam's current favorite book is Elmo Loves You.  He likes anything that has to do with Elmo, but really likes reading this book.

A close second for favorite book is Baby says Peekaboo!  Sam loves lifting the flaps and acting surprised when he finds the babies.  He currently has a slight obsession with babies and loves pointing them out wherever he sees them (it's funny when he yells BABY! about kids who are older than him too :) Any kid younger than 5 is a baby to Sam!).

Sam loves all fruits right now.  His favorites are strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, grapes, watermelon, etc (you get the idea!).   He calls cherries, blueberries, and grapes all grapes.  He always says "Mmmm, grapes!" whenever he sees them.

Sam's favorite thing to do right now is color.  He likes coloring with markers more than crayons so it gets a little messy.  The washable markers come out completely of his clothes, and wash off his hands easily.  I got a clearance vinal table cloth that we put on the floor when we color to keep the marker off the carpet (although I'm sure it would wash out if some got on it).
