Today we went to Boo at the Zoo at Potter Park. Sam decided to wear the Tigger costume.
When we got there Sam liked seeing all the Halloween decorations and other costumes. He actually liked seeing the costumes more than the animals (he kept spotting the super heroes!). We met up with Melissa and Phil while we were there too!
They had donuts and cider as part of the Halloween festivities. Sam enjoyed trying the different kinds of donuts (the ones covered with powdered sugar were his favorite!).

They also had a hayride, which was a short ride down the road and around the parking lot. Sam liked it though.
It was such a nice day out today, Sam actually got too warm in his costume. He ran around in the leaves in the field for a while...
The zoo set up a little maze, Sam likes going through it... so we went through twice.
They also had a "boo tunnel" which had a really long line, so we skipped that one.

Inside they had some animals out that we could touch. Sam was excited and touched everything except the rabbit (not sure why he didn't want to touch that one?). But he touched two turtles, a snake, a legless lizard, and a bearded dragon.
Overall, it was lots of fun! Sam enjoyed all the extra Halloween activities and I'm sure we'll go back again. :)
