We got to the show about 45 minutes early because they had some Sesame Street "stuff" to see. We were 25 rows back and had aisle seats. Sam sat in his seat before the show, but sat on my lap throughout the entire time the show was going on.
Sam tried out Oscar's trash can.
They also had "Elmo's World" set up. Sam liked seeing all this stuff, but it was pretty busy and crowded around it all.
The show was about an hour and a half, with one 15 minute intermission. Sam enjoyed popcorn at intermission (Sorry for the blurry picture).
Sesame Street Finale!
Overall, Sam enjoyed the show. When it first started he was a little overwhelmed with all the lights and music. I also think he thought the characters were really talking to him and might come out to see him because he was hiding his eyes for a minute and hiding in my shoulder (like he was being shy). Soon he realized the characters were staying on stage and he liked the songs and dances. He clapped along with the songs and said hi to all the different characters as they came on stage. He talked about it all last night and this morning too. It was a good experience, the tickets seem like they could be a little less expensive but that's okay. Sam enjoyed his first "concert experience." : )
