We spent the last couple days in Mears, Michigan at Silver Lake. We went with Brad's parents, Kelly, Shannon and Hayden. Here are some pictures from our trip:
Brad and Sam swimming at the hotel's pool. We stayed at The Silver Sands Resort. They had a nice pool and was within walking distance to the lake, restaurants, some shopping and go-carts, etc.
Sam tried out his inner-tube in the pool and later at the lake. He really liked it!
He loves swimming. He kicks and splashes around the whole time.
Later, we climbed up the dunes and watched some off-road vehicles ride around on the dunes.
We also climbed to get a view of Silver Lake. Sam fell asleep before he got to see the view. I don't think he minded.
Sam was exhausted after day one. :)
On Friday we went on a Mac Wood's Dune Ride. We had to wait a bit for our turn...
This was one of the only spots our phone's would work in the town. : )
The Dune Ride was a lot of fun... got to see some cool views of the dunes and Silver Lake.
We also went to visit Lake Michigan, which is just a mile down the road from Silver Lake.
We saw the Little Sable Lighthouse. Brad's dad went to the top, the rest of us opted out and played in the water.
We also climbed the dunes to go swimming later in Silver Lake, but I don't have any pictures of that. Later that night we drove 15 minutes or so to Pentwater for dinner.

Overall, we had a really fun time. The weather was great and we were able to swim, see and play in two beautiful lakes. It was a busy couple of days and we are happy to be home and relaxing for the rest of the weekend. : )
