March 15, 2011 - Sam's 4 Month Stats

(Yes, I was that mom who took a picture of Sam at the pediatrician.... it was while we were waiting for the doctor, so no one saw me being crazy...)

I took the day off work today to take Sam to his 4 month well visit.  Here are his new stats:
Weight: 12 lbs 9 oz
Height: 25 inches

His weight is a little low, but the doctor is not overly concerned.  Sam's just a little pipsqueak!  The doctor said she was very impressed with his motor development and said he was meeting milestones more advanced for his age....finding his toes, rolling over easily, grabbing, reaching, and manipulating objects, etc.  By the end of the 20 minutes she was in the room with us, she came to the conclusion that Sam is probably burning off a lot of the calories he is eating since he is so active.  She was also surprised at the amount of cooing and "talking" Sam was doing.  Sam is one noisy boy (in a good way, usually!).

Sam also got his second round of immunizations.  He did much better this time, and only cried a tiny bit.  After such an excited afternoon, he's now sleeping it off...
