This summer we decided to move the nursery furniture out of Sam's room since the baby will be using the furniture soon. It seemed like a good time to change Sam's room from his jungle nursery theme, to an official "big boy room"; Super Hero Style.
We painted over the sage green with a bright blue called "candid blue." We moved the full-size bed from the guest room into Sam's room and switched around the bookshelves. I painted his cabinet with chalkboard paint and we moved his Super Hero shelf from the play room up to his bed room.
Showing off his taller bookshelf with Spider-Man and Iron Man plaques moved from Brad's office.
Chalkboard painted cabinet, bulletin board complete with family photos and Super Hero coloring pages
Superman poster, Lego table (thanks to nana!)
Sam's big boy bed with Super Hero stuffed animals, and Super Hero toys (shelf is a doll house bookshelf painted with chalkboard paint and decorated with wall adhesives)
Sam loves his new room!
Captain American's shield is a night light (from Target)
Superman hook with towel (both from Target)
We didn't really have to buy too much to transform Sam's room, but lots of moving things around.
